     - We have reports that credit card processor Worldpay is currently having connectivity issues. Merchants using the credit card processor - Worldpay may be experiencing issues processing transactions. We have reported the problem to Worldpay and are currently monitoring this issue. As we receive updates we will post them on our network status page:

    PLEASE NOTE: StoreTender functionality is fully operational and continues to function normally.

    Only merchants using credit card processor - Worldpay via NETePay (EMV) are affected by this incident. We cannot provide an ETA for the resolution of this incident, as the issue resides on the merchant processor end.

    Our data hosting provider has notified us of the following upcoming maintenance:

    The cabinet housing your servers will undergo maintenance to replace a power distribution unit (PDU). The PDU was found to be not providing stable power due to a failed control module. The PDU is still providing power to the cabinet, however, to be proactive and ensure a stable, healthy power supply for the future, we are replacing this PDU with a brand new unit. This maintenance is to ensure power stability for this cabinet now and in the future, and cannot be rescheduled.

    This maintenance is scheduled for August 14th 10:00 pm until August 15th 1:00 am CST (GMT -6), 2019. Expected potential downtime is 30-60 minutes, though the window is 3 hours to accommodate any unforeseen circumstances.

    During this maintenance window connections to the StoreTender cloud database servers will be unavailable. Luckily, StoreTender has built-in methods to overcome a loss of server connectivity.

    StoreTender POS will automatically switch over to Offline Mode. In fact, you can force Offline Mode if you wish, prior to the maintenance window. Ensure you are on the latest version (8.4.11). Click the link to learn more about Offline Mode.

    When services are restored you will be able to upload your offline transactions.

    Integrated Merchant Processing (credit cards) will continue to work throughout this maintenance period.

Credit Card Processing Outage (Riješen)

  • The below issue has been resolved and all service is operating normally. The service disruption lasted approximately 30 minutes.

    --Original Issue--

    We've been alerted that some customers processing via WorldPay are experiencing difficulty processing transactions. The response listed in the "Payment Not Accepted" notification is "Error Reading Response from Host. Response Code 103.", for customers using the BridgePay Gateway. Other messages regarding "Host" connections will appear for NETePay (EMV) users.

    This message indicates that the transaction was unable to be successfully routed to WorldPay. The issue is not related to StoreTender, but is instead a communications failure at the processor level.

    We continue to receive alerts that indicate some issues still remain. Until service is fully restored you must continue to attempt transactions and, if declined due to Host connection issues, collect an alternate payment method.

BridgePay Gateway Service Issues (Riješen)

    Today between 1:14 pm and 1:41 pm ET, BridgePay experienced a complex network failure between our primary and secondary locations causing the inability for merchants to connect to the gateway. The network issues also prevented automatic notification to our status page, and prevented us from failing over between sites. Our Network Operations team was able to stabilize the issue and all transactions are processing to the gateway properly. 

    Network Operations is reviewing the root cause of this issue to ensure safeguards are put in place to prevent this from occurring again.

    We have received communication from BridgePay that their gateway service is currently experiencing issues. Below is the text of the email. We have no further information as to the cause or estimated time of service restoration. As we receive updates we will inform you.

Payment Gateway Outage [RESOLVED] (Riješen)

  • UPDATE: As of 2pm Pacific, this issue has been resolved. Thank you for your patience.
    We have been advised by BridgePay, our credit card gateway provider, that gateway services have been interrupted due to a nationwide DNS service outage. This outage is not under the control of BridgePay, but they are monitoring the issue.

    Our research indicates that this outage is the result of a distributed denial of service attack (DDoS) that took down a big chunk of the Internet for most of the Eastern seaboard. For more information please see the following article:

    Your gateway service will resume once this outage is mitigated by the DNS providers.

    We are receiving numerous calls into our Gateway Support from merchants experiencing processing issues. The gateway is still receiving and processing transactions intermittently and our IT team is working on resolving the response times as quickly as possible.

  • We have been advised by BridgePay that they will be performing gateway maintenance that will cause a brief interruption of integrated payment service (2-5 minutes) on Monday, July 20th, between 3 am - 6 am ET. Please see the complete notice from BridgePay below.

    Maintenance Announcement for Monday July 20th

    BridgePay is committed to providing our client partners the best solutions possible. To ensure we are meeting this goal, we perform maintenance and incorporate new capabilities on a regular basis. On Monday, July 20th, between 3 am - 6 am ET, BridgePay will be upgrading the core switching to add additional capacity to our existing infrastructure. This upgrade requires a full system reboot that will result in an outage lasting between 2-5 minutes during the scheduled maintenance window while the maintenance is performed.

    What connections will be affected?

    All gateway connections into the BridgePay Gateway and PathwayLINK (TGate Gateway) will be affected.

    Will there be an outage?

    Yes. We expect a maximum outage time of 5 minutes. During this time, transactions will not be able to process through the gateway. 

    Will there be multiple outages during the maintenance window?

    No. We do not expect the need for multiple outages.

    Will settlement be affected?

    Settlement will be paused until the maintenance is complete and then processed as normal.

    Our 24/7 Gateway Support phone queue will have a message regarding the maintenance making partners and merchants aware of the maintenance should they contact Support because they are unable to process or settle. They will be advised the outage should last only 2-5 minutes and then be able to transact.

    We had experienced an impacting network event in the Chicago Data Center, caused by an extremely large DDoS attack. The targets have been nullrouted and we are working to gather more information about this event. At this time, services should be completely restored. More information will follow soon.
